The price of gold has fallen again in the country's market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has adjusted the price of gold jewelery in the country market as the price of tazabi or pure gold has decreased in the local market. According to the new decision, the best quality 22 carat gold has been reduced by Tk 2216 per load. As a result, the new price of one bar of 22 carat gold including VAT stands at 2 lakh 20 thousand 858 taka.
The decision to fix the new price of gold was taken at the meeting of Bajus Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee on Tuesday (July 28) morning. This new price is effective in the country market from 10 am on the same day.

According to the notification, due to the decrease in the price of acidic gold in the local market, the price of gold jewelery has also been reduced in the country. According to the new decision, the price of 22 carat gold, i.e. 11.664 grams of gold has decreased by Tk 2 thousand 216.
After the price reduction, the new price of one bar of 22 carat gold including VAT has been fixed at Tk 2 lakh 20 thousand 858. As a result, it is believed that this new price reduction may return some relief among the buyers amid the rise in gold prices in recent times.
As per the Bajus decision, the sale of gold jewelery at the new price is effective from 10 am on Tuesday, July 28.
