Popular Pakistani rapper, singer and lyricist Hasan Rahim is coming to Bangladesh for the first time to perform a concert. He will perform on the stage of the capital Dhaka this August. This has been confirmed by the artist himself.
In a post on his verified Instagram account, Hasan Rahim said that a special concert will be held in Dhaka as part of his ongoing world music tour.
Hassan Rahim is currently on a world music tour titled 'Dil Ke Parde'. In the meantime, he has performed several concerts in various cities of North America, London and Europe. Following this, his first Bangladesh concert will be held on August 28 at the United Convention Center in the capital.
The event is organized by KYN Art. Organizers said advance tickets for the concert will go on sale online very soon. Ticket price, sales platform and other details will be announced later.
Hassan Rahim, known for his R&B, hip-hop and indie-pop genres, is one of the most popular artists in Pakistan's contemporary music scene. The song 'Pichhe Hat' released at the 14th edition of Coke Studio Pakistan brought him international recognition. Later the song 'Turri Jaandi' also became very popular among the audience.
His popular songs include 'Paisa', 'Radha', 'Faltu Pair', 'Ayse Kayse' and 'Mehbooba'. His unique style of music, a blend of rap, R&B and indie-pop, has garnered a huge response, especially among young audiences.
It should be noted that on July 24, Pakistan's popular artist Atif Aslam gave a concert in Dhaka. He impressed the audience by performing music for about two hours at the event organized in the 100 feet area of the capital.
On the other hand, the concert of West Bengal's popular artiste Anupam Roy was scheduled to be held at the United Convention Center today (August 1), but it was postponed at the last minute due to non-availability of necessary permissions. According to the organizers, the program has been canceled in view of the instructions of the Ministry of Culture.
