The 31st anniversary of Dhaka Care School and fruit festival were celebrated in a grand manner
The 31st anniversary and fruit festival of Dhaka Care School, located in Paschim Manikdi, Dhaka Cantonment area of the capital, was celebrated on Saturday (June 27) with grand arrangements. On this occasion, various festive events were organized around the school campus throughout the day.
Guerrilla Commander Bir Muktijodha Engineer Abul Hashem inaugurated the program yesterday at 9 am. Then at 11 am an interesting fruit festival was held with the participation of school students. On the occasion of the anniversary, a colorful rain cover and cultural program was organized on the evening of the same day. Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Humayun Himu, founder president of Zaman Memorial Academy, was present as the chief guest in this episode. General Secretary of Bangladesh Journalists' Association and Chief News Editor of Daily Deshispatra SM Shamsul Huda, Editor of semi-weekly 'Subani' and Acting Editor of Daily 'Purbavas' newspaper Ayyub Rana and Principal of Salimunnesa Academy Mohammad Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan were present as guests of honour.
In their speech, the invited guests praised Dhaka Care School's 31 years of success and glorious journey and applauded the personal initiative of educationist Ashraf Kamal. Ustad Mansoor Ali, Sanjit Kumar Roy, Bhavna Beethi and Omar Forkan Russell of 'Chandrapeeth' band team performed music in the cultural phase.
The day-long program was enlivened by the spontaneous participation of students and parents. At the end of the program attractive prizes were distributed among the students who participated in various competitions and achieved achievements. Dhaka Care School principal Bimal Chandra Saha and school teachers were in overall management of the event.
